Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

Inspiration isnt wanting to imitate those you admire but to obtain that octet. Wanting to be able to generate pieces of art with your own mind at the standards of those you admire. I was stricken with the reality of those who only copy and bite. Constantly finding a new way to be like their inspiration rather than taking it on. Becoming an imitation rather than an original. Puzzling how we try so hard to be just like them and end up being just like everyone else with their attempts to obtain the same goal. I want to be more than just that one kid who looks like that one guy and acts like the other. My resolution is to be that guy everyone else wants to be like.
